Director’s Note:

Although I based this film off of the complex and always-changing relationship I had with my sister growing up, I hope it reaches out and touches anyone who can relate to the characters’ issues. 

To all the Erins in the world, who felt like life would be just a bit easier in someone else’s shoes; and to all the Mayas, who are quietly fighting to stay above the surface. I hope you can understand each other a bit more.
